Don’t delay in pre-ordering flower arrangements from All About Flowers, whose shop will be open for pick-up on Sunday, or browse their beautifully curated selection of gifts and goodies.
Moose River Lake & Lodge has exceptional jewelry, clothing, homeware, and an amazing selection of wines to delight all styles and palates. Plus, they’re offering a Mother’s Day Sale of 20% off women’s clothing, shoes, jewelry, purses, table linens, candles, soaps, beauty products and more. They’re closed on Sundays, so be sure to shop before the day of.
The first summer St. Johnsbury Farmers Market of the season is on Saturday, May 8 (9am – 1pm, Pearl Street Parking Lot) and is a perfect opportunity to get mom a favorite local product, or some fresh produce, for those planning at-home feasts. Bonus: Inch by Inch Permaculture will be selling locally-grown flowers at the market that day!
The Artful Eye, and the adjacent antique stores Red Tag and The Annex, are a great place to find locally made artisan goods and high-quality antiques. Just across the street, the Northeast Kingdom Artisans Guild offers works by more than 100 local artists and artisans. (Both are closed Sundays – shop soon!)
Boxcar & Caboose IS open on Sunday, for last minute (or pre-planned) purchases of books, cards, candy, gifts, and much more.
Are adult libations more to your mom’s liking? Both St. Johnsbury Distillery and Whirligig Brewing offer products made right in St. Johnsbury, and their membership programs make a great gift.
