On Saturday, June 3, 2023, join the St. Johnsbury Pet Parade Committee for Vermont’s most inclusive, adorable and quirky parade, which also includes food, music and games, all to celebrate people and their pets.

Festival of Traditional CraftsEach September, the St. Johnsbury History & Heritage Center hosts a free festival with presentations and demonstrations of traditional colonial and 19th Century crafts. Visit the Center to see demonstrations of spring pole lathes, spinning, candle dipping, apple butter making, blacksmithing, traditional toys and games, blacksmithing, a model saw mill, natural dyeing, and more.
Halloween ParadeSt. Johnsbury's spookiest night, with ghosts and goblins flying through the trees. Main Street shuts down car traffic so thousands of kids can parade in their costumes, then enjoy safe trick-or-treating.

Vermont Humanities First Wednesdays Lecture SeriesFrom October through May, the St. Johnsbury Athenaeum hosts the Vermont Humanities Council's First Wednesday lecture series, as well presents its own Arts and Culture lecture series throughout the year. The lectures are free and present expert speakers on a wide variety of topics.
